Loofah Sponge

It came flatly compressed and thin enough to be paper. While showering it expands to be as long as my hand, and as tall as my knuckles in a fist. So big enough to do my whole body while being small enough to not feel awkward in my hand. With soap and water applied to the body, it gives a nice medium scrub. When dry it is much more abrasive and dead skin gets trapped easily. I hand wash with castile soap to get the dead skin out and it works, but it takes a little more time. Dries fine, no mold, lots of airflow, and great plastic free alternative to store bought sugar scrubs!

I find the loofah sponges clean my dishes just as well as a plastic sponge. Plus it composts quickly at home!

These loofahs exfoliate really well and are easy to keep clean! They are just cool in general, fun to watch them pop up from how they are stored and then see them biodegrade in your compost. The process of making them is interesting too!

This sponge looks small in the package but it really inflates when wet. And boy does it scrub. I don’t use this loofah every time I bath but just as strong exfoliation here and there. This sponge is awesome for the price and you can rest assured that once I’m done with it I’ll compost it because it’s ORGANIC MATERIAL…. Have yet to purchase anything I don’t love from the good fill :)
