We are currently hiring for the following position: 

 

Part-time Sales Associate

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate provides an outstanding customer experience to those looking to reduce waste while supporting the daily operations of The Good Fill. This role includes assisting customers with product knowledge, merchandising, maintaining store cleanliness, processing transactions, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming shopping and refill experience.

The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability, enjoys interacting with customers, and is eager to contribute to a mission-driven retail environment.

Hours:

Sundays: 9 AM - 4 PM & Mondays: 10 AM - 6 PM

Additional 5-8 hrs possible.

Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Sales:

  • Provide excellent, friendly, and informative customer service.
  • Engage with customers about product benefits and zero-waste practices.
  • Assist customers in making product selections based on their needs.
  • Promote The Good Fill’s rewards program and ensure a seamless checkout experience.

Operational & Store Support:

  • Process sales transactions, balance the cash register, and handle returns/exchanges.
  • Open and close the store, ensuring proper security procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, including shelves, surfaces, bathrooms, and floors.
  • Restock inventory and maintain product displays.
  • Implement quality control standards for bulk and liquid products.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring store security and inventory.
  • Flexibility to work at the East or West location if scheduling needs change.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $18 per hour
