• For candles or incense, simply touch the arc to the wick or stick until it ignites.
• For gas stoves, slowly turn on the burner, then bring the arc right up to the gas outlet. it should ignite within a second or two. (Hold steady and avoid letting the metal prongs touch the burner.)
