Scrape dishes to remove excess grease and food. Wet sponge and rub dish block soap to create suds. Repeat as needed to refresh suds. Wash items and rinse well. Works in warm or cold water. We prefer warm water for best results. For pots and pans, use a scrubber or scourer.
Using a strong scourer exclusively on the block will wear it down faster than using a soft sponge. Store on a draining soap dish.
sodium cocoate*, sodium cocoyl isethionate*, decyl glucoside*, quillaja saponaria extract**, glycerin*, aloe vera, purified water, sodium carbonate.
*Cleansers from coconut

I never even knew this was an option for washing dishes before I came across The Good Fill. What a plastic saver. I am thrilled with this product, I have no complaints. Been using it since September and as far as I can tell it cleans my dishes, pots and pans as good as Dawn. I don't do a whole lot of fancy cooking but use enough pots, pans, pressure cooker, crock pot, le creuset pot, etc.
I’ve been using this dish soap block for a couple of years now. It cleans the dishes great!
I wanted to love this container free bar soap for doing dishes. However, I found it did not have the power to clean kitchen dishes or cooking tools effectively. On glasses and other items it seemed to leave a film. I'm well used to the difference between organic/green and conventional/chemical liquid dish soaps - but this bar performed less effectively than our least favorite green liquid soap.
Your mileage may vary - but it is not for our household.
Love that there are no harsh chemicals in it and no huge corporation making $ off it.
I was a little concerned about whether I was going to like using a solid dish soap (as someone who has used liquid dish soap their entire life). I am in love with this product. I do A LOT of dishes and this soap gets a good lather and the small block has lasted me over 3 months (and I've still got about 1/3 of it left). I have noticed that I do not need a lot of water on my brush to get a good lather and I have found myself having to go back for soap less often than I did with liquid soap. Bonus is that the product aligns with my values as it has fully biodegradable packaging and is vegan, palm oil free, and sulfate free. I also love that it's scent free because I have several family members who are allergic to strong scents, and despite being scent free it gets rid of even the harshest odors on my dishes and in my kitchen sink. 10/10 would recommend!
