Why We Love It: Nellie's Oxy Powder uses the power of oxygen to penetrate stains and strip away dirt, odor, and grime from laundry. As a safe alternative to bleach, it keeps your colors bright and your whites white. Super concentrated compared to popular alternatives, you only need 1-3 tbsps to boost a load of laundry. The formula is color-safe, septic-safe, hypoallergenic, and free from chlorine, SLS, SLES, phosphates, fragrance, and gluten.

Machine wash: Add into wash cycle with detergent. Use 1 tablespoon for a small load, 2 tablespoons for a regular load, or 3 tablespoons for a large load. (Use 3 tablespoons for very dirty or stained clothing.)

Pre-soak or hand wash: Separate whites from colors. Add 1 tablespoon to 2.5 gallons of WARM or HOT water. Soak for 30 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

General stain removal: Create a solution using 1 tablespoon of Oxy Powder per 16 oz of water for upholstery, fabric, kitchen floors, counters, trash cans, and all other water-washable surfaces. Apply the solution to stain, wait 1-5 minutes, then scrub with a sponge or blot with a towel. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.

Carpet spot remover: Create a solution using 1 tablespoon per 16 oz of water. Soak up excess liquid before applying the solution to the stain. Use only enough to cover the stained area, wait 1-5 minutes, then soak up with a white towel. Repeat if necessary. Rinse thoroughly with water and blot dry. Vacuum once dry.

Do Not Use on wool, silk, or leather. Not for use on jewelry, latex, paints, or wood.

Just did the ultimate test

I’ve been using this product for years, but mostly as a precaution to keep clothes looking their best. Well, the other day my partner washed a new piece of clothing with some of our baby’s clothes and many of my current favorites were ruined with streaky dye stains. I soaked them for 32 hours (8 hour cycles) to try and get as much of the black dye out as possible. And it was much more successful than I imagined! Even the whites are practically back to normal. I believe the effects would have been much better if the clothes were caught before going into the dryer and sitting for few days in between. I’m such a fan of this product.

I love this stuff.

I use it in combination with the powder clothes detergent and the concentrated vinegar in the rinse cycle, and the combination does a great job cleaning my clothes.

Lovely

I've been using this oxy powder along with the laundry detergent since September. I don't really know what the oxy is for, but I figured I'd use some in every load. I am completely satisfied with this product. I was using Seventh Generation and I can't tell any difference at all.

Brightens up everything!

I love using this oxy powder! I had not been using bleach for a while, and the store associate recommended that I try the oxy powder. My clothes looked much more bright (especially my whites), and it helps with stain removal. I definitely recommend adding this to your laundry routine!
