9 oz Mosquito Repellent Candle
Why We Love It: These candles are powered with the highest-performing repellent essential oils that nature has to offer. As each candle burns, the proven blend of mosquito-fighting essential oils is dispersed into the air. The fragrance of the oils binds to mosquitoes' olfactory receptors, creating confusion when they are looking for human indicators (like CO2 and body odor). Think of it as a minty, mosquito forcefield. Each candle burns for 30 hours, smells exceptional, and comes in a reusable and curbside-recyclable tin.
Use & Care
Each 9oz candle has a burn time of 30 hours. It is important that the top layer of wax completely melts during the first burn to minimize tunneling which will cause a less than satisfactory burn for future uses. We recommend burning the candle for at least 3 hours per session. Never leave open flames unattended.
For best results, and to prevent soot, be sure to trim the wick to 1/4" before your initial lighting of the candle and each subsequent lighting.
While our candles are great at keeping away mosquitoes while you’re outdoors, the concentrated blend of oils make this product appropriate for outdoor use only.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Rosemary Oil (2.25%), Peppermint Oil (1%), Citronella Oil (0.75%), Lemongrass Oil (0.5%), Cedarwood Oil (0.5%).
Inert Ingredients:
Hydrogenated Soybean Oil and Beeswax (95%).
Cotton-core wick.
End of Life
Remove wick and any remaining wax and compost commercially or at home. Recycle empty tin and lid with aluminum recycling.
