Use & Care

Gently rub a pea sized amount into clean armpits with your fingertips. Not a fan of using your fingertips? Check out our Deodorant Applicator.

Experiencing a change in texture in your deodorant cream? Hot temperatures (hello, summer!) will result in a much creamier deodorant as the coconut oil melts in the high 70's. Some separation may occur and is natural. Simply give your deo a good stir and pop in the refrigerator until firm. Occasionally shea butter will cause little beads to form - they are natural and will not reduce how effective the deodorant is or decrease shelf life, but restoring a smooth texture is also quite easy!

Ingredients

arrowroot powder*, food grade magnesium hydroxide, coconut oil*, shea butter*, organic jojoba oil*, beeswax, organic vegetable glycerine* (non-gmo & kosher), essential oils* (see below for individual scent blends), activated charcoal (only an ingredient in the activated charcoal deodorant cream)

Activated charcoal scent: spearmint essential oil*, rosemary essential oil*, geranium essential oil*.

Grapefruit lemon scent: grapefruit essential oil*, sweet orange essential oil*, lemon essential oil*, litsea cubeba essential oil*.

Jasmine green tea scent: jasmine CO2 extract, green tea CO2 extract.

Lavender scent: lavender essential oil*, eucalyptus essential oil*.

Rosemary patchouli scent: rosemary essential oil*, patchouli essential oil*.

Excellent but irritating

I react badly to baking soda so was very excited to try this. It’s extremely effective, smells great (I like lavender and rosemary patchouli), doesn’t stop working after a week or so, doesn’t stain clothes—it is a wonderful product. But I am so sad to say that after several weeks I developed an irritated ring around my underarms. It’s not as severe as with baking soda, but it was uncomfortably itchy and sensitive, and it went away with discontinuing use. I am wondering if the issue is the magnesium hydroxide, which is effective and totally nontoxic but is a basic ingredient and may interact with some people’s skin ph? So this is a note to say this is awesome deodorant, but if you’re very sensitive to baking soda, it’s possible this will bother you too.

Hi Bailey! Thanks for taking the time to review. I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you especially since it sounds like it was working! We've actually not heard of this happening with these deodorants as it's very rare for Magnesium Hydroxide to cause irritation or allergic reactions when used topically, unlike baking soda. I'd highly recommend the refillable, spray deodorant we carry by Carina Organics as that one is more pH balanced and we've seen great results with it as well!

Awesome product!

I love this product! I’ve been using the Jasmin & Green Tea deodorant for awhile now and swear by this product. It smells amazing and works so well. I love the ingredients and have gotten some friends hooked on this product. I can’t imagine using anything else.

So grateful for this product!

Hands down the best deodorant EVER. Smells so good (I get the Jasmine green tea scent) and I never feel stinky, even if it's been a full, active day. It's also the only natural deodorant that doesn't make me break out in the pits. I definitely recommend getting the underarm detox bar as well.

So impressed!

I switched to this deodorant from a different natural deodorant stick and was nervous about switching to a cream - but I’ve loved it! I just apply a little using my finger and it lasts me all day, even through hard workouts. The Grapefruit Lemon has a pleasant sweet scent. Highly recommend!
